Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using my services. By engaging Right To Fly Ltd you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Right To Fly Ltd
Right To Fly Ltd is an aviation employment guidance service operated as a sole trader business Company No. NI674836. I provide employment guidance and document drafting services to pilots and cabin crew in the UK.
I am not a regulated law firm. My services do not constitute legal advice as defined by the Legal Services Act 2007. Guidance I provide is for information purposes and to assist you in understanding your position — it is not a substitute for regulated legal advice where that is required.

3. What my services are not

- Regulated legal advice or representation as defined under the Legal Services Act 2007
- Employment Tribunal representation (this will be available in 2027)
- Advice on matters outside UK employment law
- Ongoing retainer or in-house legal support
Where your matter requires regulated legal representation, I will refer you to a qualified solicitor.
4. Fees and payment
My fees are as set out on my website at the time of engagement. Fees are payable in advance of service delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
I reserve the right to decline to provide a service at my discretion, in which case any fee paid in advance will be refunded in full.
5. Confidentiality
I treat all information you share with me as strictly confidential. I will not disclose details of your situation, your employer, or your case to any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
This confidentiality obligation is mutual — documents and guidance I provide to you are for your personal use in your employment matter and should not be shared or published without my consent.
6. Accuracy and reliance
I take care to ensure that guidance I provide reflects current UK employment law at the time of delivery. However, employment law changes frequently and the guidance I provide represents my honest assessment at a point in time.
You should not rely solely on my guidance in making decisions that could significantly affect your employment or legal position without also taking independent advice where the matter is complex or high-value. I will always tell you honestly if I believe your matter is beyond the scope of my guidance services.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the fee paid for that service. I am not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your reliance on guidance I have provided.
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Cancellation and refunds
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of placing an order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Where I have begun work at your request within that 14-day period, a pro-rata fee for work completed may be retained. To cancel, email patrick@righttofly.co.uk.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please contact me at patrick@righttofly.co.uk. I will acknowledge your complaint within two business days and aim to resolve it within 14 days. If I am unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, I will explain your options for escalation.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms or my services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
